The Wa Polytechnic is a public tertiary institution in the Upper West Region ofGhana. The school was founded in 1999 to provide quality tertiaryeducationto people in the Upper West Region ofGhana. The Wa Polytechnic has three academic schools; School of Engineering, School of Applied Science andTechnologyand School ofBusiness.
It is a co-educational centre that offers various academicprogrammesthat lead to the award of the a Higher National Diploma certificate. The polytechnic has nine sister institutions in all the other nine regions of Ghana.
