The University offers the LLB Degree programme in two cohorts:Four (4)-Year LLB Degree Programme for Non First Degree Holders
Three (3)-Year LLB Degree Programme for First Degree Holders
1. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSFOUR (4)-YEAR LL.B DEGREE PROGRAMME FOR NON-FIRSTDEGREE HOLDERS (FULL-TIME DAY)West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) &Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE Applicants.West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) & SeniorSecondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) applicants must have atleast credit passes (i.e. grade A1-C6 and grade A-D respectively) in three core
subjects including English Language,Mathematicsand Integrated
Science/Social Studies in addition to any three elective subjects with anaggregate score of 24 or better.

General Certificate ofEducation(GCE) Advanced Level Holders:Passes in any three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be grade D orbetter) at the GCE Advanced Level plus a pass in General Paper. In addition,the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) or better in five (5) subjectsincluding English Language, Mathematics and any Science Subject at theGCE Ordinary (‘O’) Level.
Category C
AdvancedBusinessCertificate Examinations (ABCE) Holders:Full diploma certificate (passes in any five (5) subjects at the ABCE level and atleast two of the passes should be grade D or better). In addition, the applicantmust have had credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language,Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies in the GBCE or SSSCE or
WASSCE.

Post-Secondary Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’/Diploma inEducationCerticate
awarded by any University recognized by the NationalAccreditationBoard.
Category EHolders of Higher National Diploma (HND) awarded by NABPTEX with atleast Second Class Lower or University Diploma from any Universityrecognized by the National Accreditation Board with Final Cumulative GradePoint Average (FCGA) of at least 2.5.Applicants, who qualify under Categories C, D and E, must in addition haveWASSCE/SSSCE/GBCE credit passes in three (3) core subjects and two(2) electivessubjects or credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language,
Mathematics and any Science subject at the GCE ‘O’ Level.
THREE (3)-YEAR LLB PROGRAMME FOR FIRST DEGREE
HOLDERS (FULL-TIME EVENING)The Three (3) Year LLB Programme is an option for holders of first degreewith at least third class or its equivalent who want to pursue the programmeon full-time basis but will have to attend lectures in the evening. It is open toapplicants with degrees or their equivalents in any discipline from anyrecognised university.
