PROGRAMMEDURATION

The programme duration is eighteen (18) months consisting of three semesters, with one semester being a six-month

internship with industry.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTSi. Applicants must hold a good HND (Second Class Upper Division or Better) in Building Technology orallied programmes with at least one year relevant post qualification experience. Applicants with HNDSecond Class Lower Division must pass a selection interview before they could be considered.ii. Candidates with Construction Technicians Course Part III or Part II old Scheme with five good passesincluding Construction Practice, Applied Technology and Site Experience and Construction ProjectWork plus good passes in either Land Surveying or Measurement of Construction Works with theirproject work shall be admitted. Candidates with some passes in G.C.E ‘O’ Level or SSSCE/WASSCEor similar qualification would be an added advantage.NOTE: In addition to the above entry requirement for CTC Holders, applicants will go through abridging course or Pre-B-Tech programme for a minimum of three months organized by thePolytechnic and should pass the stipulated courses before they are enrolled fully on the B-Tech
