TITLE:   Life Coach  South Shore SafeTY.net Program, Full-Time

REPORTS TO:  Robin Sklarin, Program Director, SafeTY.net

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. B.A/B.S. Degree required; social/human services field concentration
  2. Previous experience working with families preferred
  3. Valid driver’s license and daily use of a car required
  4. Knowledge of substance abuse preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Engage substance abusing and at-risk, traumatized, high-risk young adults
  2. Help participants establish positive personal and feasible goals
  3. Establish educational goals and opportunities for clients
  4. Engage family members to support the progress of their child
  5. Timely submission of progress notes and employment plans for consumers
  6. Compliance with all Society Policies and Procedures and New York State Mental Hygiene, HIPAA and other laws regarding patient care, clinical records, child abuse, etc.
  7.  Other duties as assigned
